Let the Dark be gone a while,
For now the World bright gleams.
No terror in this longnight lives
Just re-remembered Dreams.

Diyas gather to remind
Those weary from the Fight.
Darkness flees and cowers still,
With just one single light.

Menorahs lit by tradition writ
Eight candles in a line-
With mirth and fellowship await
The joyous flame of nine.

Maranatha wreaths' unfading green
Grow each week, more bright.
Sweetly whispering their hymns
Make souls remember flight.

Sol Invictus! some used to say
And they of course are right.
But I say Spes Invictus!
Dawn always follows Night.
